Getting started
A phone number is a starting point. Knowline brings the available person data together and keeps its sources in view.
1. Tell us what you’re exploring
Request early access with your use case and expected volume. We’ll discuss coverage, the data that would be useful, and pilot pricing.
2. Set up your integration
Store your provided base URL in KNOWLINE_API_URL and credential in KNOWLINE_API_KEY. Keep the credential on your server; never put it in a browser bundle or public repository.
3. Send a phone number
Use E.164 format: a leading +, country code, and number, with no spaces or punctuation. For example, +14155550123. The example number is fictional and may return no match.
curl "$KNOWLINE_API_URL/enrich-with-llm" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $KNOWLINE_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"phoneNumber": "+14155550123"}'4. Inspect the outcome
Check llm.status, consolidation, and the individual providerStatus values. An HTTP 200 can still contain a skipped or failed consolidation. A profile is candidate context and does not confirm current phone ownership.
Next, read about enrichment requests or profiles and sources.
